Naturopathic medicine is a distinct profession of primary healthcare that emphasizes optimal health and preventative medicine. The primary goal of naturopathic medicine is to address the root cause of the illness rather than suppressing the symptoms. Viewing the body as a whole system a naturopathic doctor is able to effectively take into consideration the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual factors when diagnosing and developing a treatment plan.
Utilizing natural remedies, clinical nutrition, acupuncture and lifestyle counselling, naturopathic medicine offers safe, effective, and long lasting treatments that strengthen your body’s resistance to disease.
Two Different Naturopaths for you.
Dr. Kate Hunter, ND
Dr. Kate Hunter is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, who specializes in Auricular & Bioenergetic Medicine, which is a unique combination of Naturopathy, Medical Intuition and Auricular Acupuncture. Dr. Hunter uses Auricular & Bioenergetic Medicine to test the body to determine which organs and systems are out of balance and then re-establishes the body’s ability to self-heal and auto-regulate. Dr. Hunter’s goal is to implement therapies to support the individual’s body to heal the root of the manifestation of disease and not solely the symptoms.
Dr. Hunter graduated from the University of Western Ontario, where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology. She went on to complete a post-graduate designation as a Naturopathic Doctor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Dr. Yasher Khosroshahi, ND
If you are ready to make yourself better, I am ready to work with you. If you have an attitude that growth, prosperity, and purpose in life is possible, then I am ready to work with you. If you feel stuck in business, sport, health or a personal relationship, but are ready to tackle the challenge, then I am ready to work with you. If you are willing to work hard because you want to improve yourself – and are not looking for the “magic pill” but rather real lasting change– then I am ready to work with you.
I am Dr. Yashar Khosroshahi, or as many like to call me, Dr. K, and I'm a Naturopathic Doctor and a Certified Brain-Based Executive Coach. I am deeply committed to training people to overcome mental and physical obstacles to live an empowered and healthful life. I’ve dedicated my life to studying the science of the human body, mind, and performance, and understanding how to apply this knowledge in a meaningful way.
I graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and apply my training from the NeuroLeadership Institute and the Institute of HeartMath to help individuals be their best in business, sport, relationships, and personal health and well-being.
Outside of the clinic, I keep busy as the co-founder of MINDSHIFT NINJA, a Health Psychology teacher at CCNM, a husband and a father, and as a drummer in a rock band.
