Changing your brain to elevate your health.

What is a Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback addresses brain dysfunction. Our assessment analyzes 5 brain frequencies, and when out of balance, this can result in numerous conditions that are typically treated with medication. The conditions include: the anxiety-depression spectrum, attention deficits, behavior disorders, various sleep disorders, headaches and migraines, addictions, and concussions. The assessment takes 30 minutes and is two visits. At your second visit, the Doctor will present you with a report that will highlight the areas of concern, and how they relate to your condition.
Why offer Neurofeedback at Vita?neurofeedback loop
In the past two years Vita has become a brain focused clinic. The latest research has found that adjusting the spine can improve brain function by almost 20%.*

At Vita we further utilize a multisensory approach to our treatments by incorporating Tuning forks, Essential Oils, and direct cranial adjustments. Our Multi-disciplinary clinic works as a team; Naturopathy to measure blood for hormones and food sensitivities, acupuncture to balance energy; body workers to balance muscles and fascia, and cranial-sacral therapy to balance cerebral fluid. Neurofeedback is an exciting proven technology which will allow us to directly train your brain by targeting specific regions, and therefore is a natural fit.
How does Neurofeedback training work?
Neurofeedback is direct training of brain function, by which the brain learns to work more efficiently. We observe the brain in action from moment to moment and reward the brain for changing its own activity to more appropriate patterns. This is a gradual learning process. Each session is approximately 20-30 minutes in length.
How can this benefit me?
The brain controls all aspects of your life, from how you think to how you feel. If you improve your brain function, then you will improve your life. Neurofeedback has been scientifically proven to change brain function, from improving specific conditions to athletes looking to have more focus in their sport.

How long will the benefits last?
Current neurofeedback research demonstrates that after approximately 10-20 training sessions the new pattern will be ‘locked in’. The brain will then continue to use its new capabilities, and thus reinforce them.
Is this safe for everyone?
Absolutely. Neurofeedback is non-invasive. The assessment takes up to 45 minutes and will require being able to sit still for 5 minutes at a time.
What does it cost?
New patient: $160
Current patient: $95
