Fats, proteins, and carbohydrates are the three essential energy sources, which are known as macronutrients. It is a known fact that overuse or overconsumption of anything does harm, and the same is with this macronutrient. Carbohydrates are also known by names such as starch, sugar, and fiber. Carbohydrates are essential to breakdown the energy-rich food, absorb and metabolize them for the energy required.
